The figures describe noise levels, not a reduction of 80–110 dB. Performance depends on the selected configuration and application.
Silent covers.
Designed to allow airflow.
The silent cover supplied to TMEiC is described in the company profile with a 100–80 dB noise suppression range and a temperature capability up to 200°C.
The 200°C figure relates to the silent-cover example. It is not presented as a rating for every noise absorber in the range.
